About this role:
As a PRN Palliative Care Physician, you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience.? In this role, you will join a passionate and energetic team of one full-time Palliative Care Physician, one APP, as well as a dedicated RN, LCSW, and Chaplain – they function like a family and care deeply about their patients.
Practice at St. Mary’s Hospital in Grand Junction, CO
The Palliative Service is open Monday – Friday, 8 am – 5 pm, with no call
Your schedule will be on an as needed basis
Play a critical role on a busy service with around eight consults a day
Work closely with local hospice agencies including one with a beautiful 13 bed inpatient unit when needed
Make a significant and powerful impact on people and their families during times of need
Compensation:
PRN Rate: $148.00 per on-site hour
What you’ll bring:
MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine
Residency training in Family or Internal Medicine
Board certification or eligibility in Palliative Medicine
Active, unobstructed Colorado medical license, or the ability to obtain one
Full prescriptive authority and an active DEA, or the ability to obtain one
Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process
