Required Skills:

• Board Certification in Cardiology
• Valid State Medical License (IMLC or WV temp license accepted)
• DEA Certification
• Certification in BLS, ACLS, and TEE
• Proven experience with nuclear medicine stress tests, exercise stress tests, EKGs, Echoes, and TEE procedures
• Strong clinical judgment and excellent communication skills
• Ability to manage a high-volume clinic and perform multiple procedures efficiently

Nice to Have Skills:

• Prior experience working with Cerner EMR system
• Experience caring for patients aged 50 and above
• Flexibility to support extended coverage or work 2-3 weeks per month as needed
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision

Preferred Education and Experience:

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school
• Minimum of 2 years of cardiology practice experience preferred
• Previous hospital-based practice experience is advantageous

Other Requirements:

• Willingness to work a Monday through Friday schedule with potential for 24/7 call coverage
• Ability to work day shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Must be comfortable managing approximately 20-25 patients daily, including test supervision and consults
• Candidates must obtain licensure within 30-45 days of hiring
• Travel, licensure, certification, and other reimbursements available when applicable
