Join Our Dynamic Emergency Medicine Team – Make a Difference When It Matters Most!

We are seeking dedicated Emergency Medicine physicians to provide high-quality urgent care in a fast-paced environment located just 30 minutes from Madison and 20 minutes from Wisconsin Dells and renowned tourist destinations. Our facility handles approximately 40 to 60 patients every 24 hours in a combined Emergency Department and Urgent Care setting. Featuring a collaborative hospitalist team, on-site UW helicopter, Telestroke, and Tele ICU support, our facility offers a unique and challenging environment for physicians committed to excellence in emergency care. Both day and night shifts are available starting July 2026, with ongoing coverage needs totaling 14-16 shifts per month.

Required Skills:

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Medical license valid in the state of assignment
• Board certification or eligibility in Emergency Medicine
• Proven ability to manage a high-acuity patient population with efficiency and compassion
• Excellent clinical judgment and decision-making skills
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with Telestroke and Tele ICU services
• Prior work in rural or community hospital settings
• Advanced life support certifications (ACLS, ATLS, PALS)
• Bilingual abilities to serve diverse patient populations

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Residency training in Emergency Medicine
• At least 2 years of emergency department experience
• Experience with telemedicine technologies

Other Requirements:

• Availability for both day and night shifts starting July 2026
• Willingness to work 14-16 shifts per month
• Must adhere to all hospital and state regulations regarding healthcare standards
• Ability to obtain necessary medical licensing and certifications
