Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Active medical license preferred in Oregon, DEA certification
- Proven experience in outpatient family medicine, including women’s health
- OB experience, including deliveries and related procedures
- Proficiency with Cerner CommunityWorks EMR
- Ability to perform OB procedures such as deliveries, suturing, IUD insertions, excisions, biopsies, colposcopies, and splinting
- Strong communication and patient management skills
- Demonstrated competence in OB deliveries and C-sections as per certification requirements
- BLS certification required; ACLS, NRP certifications preferred
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with inpatient OB call responsibilities
- Additional surgical or procedural experience
- Bilingual abilities or multilingual proficiency
- Familiarity with telemedicine platforms or outpatient clinic workflows
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution
- Minimum of 10 deliveries in the past 24 months and 30 cesarean sections successfully completed
- At least 2 years of outpatient primary care experience, with a focus on women’s health
Other Requirements:
- Availability for a 6 to 12-month assignment beginning August 17, 2026
- Commitment to working 4 days per week, Monday through Friday, with 10-hour shifts
- Willingness to participate in OB call duty (1:3 rotation)
- Must be willing to travel and stay within assigned travel caps; mileage reimbursement available for local candidates
- Credentialing may take 3-6 months; complete references and provider files required for privileges
- Must hold or be eligible for Oregon licensure and DEA registration
