Required Skills:
  • Pediatric Radiology or Nuclear Medicine fellowship training
  • Board certified or eligible in Pediatric Radiology (CAQ certified preferred)
  • Strong diagnostic skills in interpreting X-Rays, Ultrasounds, CT, and MRI cases
  • Ability to work onsite and manage a flexible schedule with a focus on patient care and accuracy
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with hospital staff and physicians

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Experience in off-hours coverage including evenings and weekends
  • Prior experience working in a children’s hospital setting
  • Proficiency with case logs and documentation procedures

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Fellowship training in Pediatric Radiology or Nuclear Medicine
  • CAQ certification or eligibility with relevant clinical experience
  • Previous onsite coverage experience at a pediatric hospital

Other Requirements:
  • Willingness to provide onsite coverage at Children’s Hospital of Michigan, approximately one week per month
  • Availability for scheduled shifts: Mon-Fri 4 PM-12 AM, with weekend shifts (either Sat/Sun 12 PM-8 PM or 8 PM-8 AM)
  • Ability to read and interpret all X-Rays, Ultrasounds, Stat CT, and MRI cases with prompt reporting
  • Submission of case logs and verification of clean malpractice history
  • Valid licensure and certification, with travel or reimbursement considerations as applicable
