Pediatric Hospitalist

Arkansas Children’s, in partnership with the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS), is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible pediatric hospitalist. The successful candidate will join the state’s only pediatric health system and play a key role in shaping the future of children’s health in our region. 

Program Info & Highlights: 

As Arkansas Children’s Northwest continues to expand, join a dynamic team of 9 hospitalists who provide nationally ranked and recognized care to patients statewide and regionally. Other highlights include: 

• Provide 24/7 inpatient coverage at a free-standing children's hospital with no delivery or newborn nursery coverage or out of hospital "call"
• Dedicated focus within the practice on work-life balance
• Flexible scheduling and unmatched practice support
• Contracted hours are currently divided between 12-hour days and nights in addition to 8-hour daytime shifts
• Equally distributed weekend and holiday coverage.
• Nocturnist positions are available, 10 shifts a month as a full-time position
• Opportunities for hospital and system-wide committee involvement, quality improvement projects, teaching (medical student level), medical informatics opportunity and career advancement.
