Join this incredible independent Critical Access Hospital as a General Surgeon---just about 20 minutes from the capital city of Madison WI! The selected candidate will provide the full spectrum of general surgery services, including but not limited to the admission, evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of patients presenting with disorders, illnesses or injuries of the alimentary tract, the abdomen and its contents, breast, skin, soft tissue, head and neck, endocrine system and minor extremity surgery. The performance of upper gastrointestinal endoscopy and colonoscopy as a regular practice component will be expected.
Clinical responsibilities include approximately 40% dedicated operating room time and 60% clinic time per week.  
Call responsibility is 1:4 and every fourth weekend with incentive for greater than 1:4 coverage. A 30-minute response time upon call activation is required.
Experience of at least 5 years in an independent surgical setting/community hospital preferred
