Required Skills:

• Active California medical license and CA DEA registration
• Board Certified or Board Eligible within 5 years of residency
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Experience in both outpatient clinic and hospital delivery settings
• Ability to manage a diverse patient population with professionalism and compassion
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail

Nice to Have Skills:

• Prior locum or temporary coverage experience
• Familiarity with hospital privileging processes
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced clinical environment
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
• Graduation from a recognized residency program in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• At least 2+ years of clinical practice in OB-GYN settings
• Previous hospital coverage experience, including deliveries and on-call duties

Other Requirements:

• Valid California medical license and DEA registration
• Willingness to participate in hospital privileges process (expected 90 days for privileging)
• Availability for 3-4 days per week, with scheduled on-call commitments (including evening and weekend shifts)
• Ability to start by June 2026, with timely submission of all credentialing documents
• Flexibility to work between 8:00 am and 4:00 pm, with options to start earlier if desired
