BJC Medical Group and our growing Hospitalist team in Alton, IL, just a short commute from St. Louis, MO.
Alton Memorial Hospital is a full-service 209 bed hospital with a wide range of quality health care services including: heart services, orthopedic surgery, oncology services, women's health services, outpatient surgery and testing, gastroenterology, pain management, pulmonary medicine, rehabilitation and sports medicine.
Position Highlights:
- Block scheduling: 7 on/7 off
- 16 to 18 average daily census
- Closed ICU with Intensivist coverage
- No procedures or codes
- Family Medicine Residency on campus
- EPIC EMR
Compensation & Benefits:
- $300,000 Base salary
- Quality bonus up to $20,000
- $12,000 tenure bonus/year three
- $30,000 Sign-on bonus

Preferred Qualifications
Role Purpose
The physician will provide professional medical services within the practicing Specialty to the best of physician’s ability through direct patient care and spend additional time as necessary to perform other related duties such as completing medical records, providing MyChart consultations and inbasket management, conducting patient-specific education and collaborating with advanced practice providers and care team members.
