Salary: Competitive, commensurate with experience; starting at $525,000 - $600,000 annually
Hourly Rate: $1.00 (for internal processing purposes)

About the Opportunity:
Maternal Fetal Medicine of Puget Sound, part of Pediatrix Medical Group, is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Maternal-Fetal Medicine Specialist to join our innovative, collaborative care team in Seattle. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive, high-quality maternal-fetal medicine care in both inpatient and outpatient settings, ensuring continuity and personalized management for high-risk pregnancies.
- Utilize advanced prenatal diagnostic tools such as ultrasound, genetic testing, fetal echocardiography, and chorionic villus sampling (CVS) to evaluate, diagnose, and manage complex maternal and fetal conditions.
- Perform a full scope of MFM procedures and reproductive health services, including invasive diagnostics and fetal interventions.
- Manage a diverse and high-acuity patient population in a facility supporting over 7,500 deliveries annually.
- Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including OB hospitalists, neonatologists, pediatric specialists, MFM advanced practice providers, and regional outreach clinics in Everett and Issaquah, extending care across the Pacific Northwest and southern Alaska.
- Contribute to postpartum care alongside advanced practice providers to ensure seamless patient management.
- Participate in shared 24/7 call duties with robust hospital support, including a 70+ bed NICU and PICU.
- Engage in teaching and mentoring OB/GYN residents, fostering the next generation of maternal-fetal medicine specialists.
- Involve yourself in clinical research initiatives, contributing to Pediatrix-sponsored studies and academic collaborations aimed at advancing maternal-fetal health.
- Uphold the highest standards of evidence-based care, quality improvement, and patient safety initiatives.
Qualifications:
- MD or DO degree with board certification or eligibility in maternal-fetal medicine (MFM).
- Valid medical license in Washington State or eligible for licensing.
- Experience in high-risk obstetrics preferred but not mandatory; however, a commitment to high-quality, evidence-based care is essential.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Willingness to participate in outreach services and regional consultations.
