Required Skills:
  • Medical license in good standing with authorization to practice in the designated state
  • Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine, Hematology, and Oncology
  • Proven clinical expertise in managing hematologic and oncologic patients
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with patients and team members
  • Ability to handle a high patient volume with professionalism and empathy
  • Competence in managing electronic health records (EHR) and other clinical technologies

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Experience in outpatient oncology clinics
  • Prior involvement in multidisciplinary care teams
  • Familiarity with clinical research in hematology and oncology
  • Bilingual abilities to serve diverse patient populations

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical experience in hematology and oncology practice
  • Commitment to long-term engagement and community integration

Other Requirements:
  • Willingness to work 4 shifts per week, with each shift lasting 8-10 hours (dependent on patient volume)
  • Availability for light call duties (beeper only, 2-5 times per week for established patients)
  • Ability to work at our oncology center alongside a team of three additional permanent providers
  • Located within driving distance for long-term commitment—relocation assistance and apartment accommodations available
  • Start date: May 26, 2026
