Required Skills:

• Board Certification or Eligibility in Gastroenterology (BE or BC)
• Valid medical license in Pennsylvania
• DEA certification
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant clinical experience
• Proficiency in performing outpatient procedures without ERCP or EUS
• Strong clinical judgment and excellent communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a hospital environment and coordinate care with onsite anesthesiology support

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with EPIC electronic medical records
• Ability to manage a diverse patient census and handle multiple consults daily
• Prior experience in a hospital-based practice

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Medical degree (MD or DO)
• At least one year of post-residency clinical experience in gastroenterology
• Demonstrated ability to perform routine outpatient procedures

Other Requirements:

• Availability to start on 06/15/2026
• Flexibility to cover one week per month including weekends
• Willingness to participate in scheduled shifts (7 am–5 pm) with night call responsibilities
• Credentialing timeframe of approximately 90 days; temporary licensing options available with a clean file
• Must support scheduled procedures and outpatient care, managing a patient census of approximately 30-50, with 9-16 new consults daily
