Mary Rutan Hospital is urgently looking for a motivated Locum OB/GYN Physician to cover upcoming shifts and beyond. What You’ll Do:

• Provide exceptional obstetric and gynecological care in a well-equipped setting
• Manage deliveries, including routine and complicated cases, with an average of one birth per day
• Perform obstetric ultrasounds, FHR interpretation, and low to high-risk pregnancies
• Participate in a 1:4 call rotation, ensuring reliable coverage during scheduled shifts
• Collaborate with a dedicated team of four physicians and skilled nursing staff

Required Skills:

• Board Certified or truly board eligible in OB/GYN
• Valid BLS and ACLS certifications
• Proficiency in obstetric procedures, ultrasound interpretation, and high-risk pregnancy management
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to respond promptly and professionally to on-call responsibilities

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with Meditech Expanse EMR
• Prior work in a hospital or clinic setting with on-call duties
• Additional certifications in advanced obstetric or neonatal care

Preferred Education and Experience:

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in OB/GYN practice
• Experience in community hospital environments is a plus

Other Requirements:

• Currently licensed or eligible for licensure in Ohio
• Must reside within a 30-minute radius of Bellefontaine during on-call periods
• Travel expenses for onboarding and coverage are reimbursed, including flight, hotel, rental car, and mileage
