Aptive Resources is seeking a Board-Certified / Board-Eligible Internal Medicine Physician to join our dedicated team providing high-quality care to active duty service members and their families at Wilford Hall Ambulatory Surgical Center, one of the Department of Defense’s premier medical facilities.

Position Details

• Employment Type: Full-Time Independent Contractor
• Compensation: Hourly rate (1099)
• Malpractice: Fully covered
• Schedule:
  • Monday–Friday
  • Between 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
• Work Setting: Outpatient only — no inpatient rounding required

Clinical Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary care services in an outpatient setting
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions
• Promote preventive health and wellness
• Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation

Workload & Support

• Patient Volume: ~13 patients per day
• Administrative Time: Half-day per week dedicated to admin responsibilities
• Structured environment with efficient workflows and support staff

Qualifications

• M.D. or D.O. degree
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine
• Active, unrestricted medical license (any U.S. state)
• DEA certification (or eligibility)
• Eligible to work as an independent contractor
