Are you a compassionate and dedicated Neonatologist seeking a rewarding opportunity in a dynamic, high-acuity environment? Memorial Health’s Dwaine & Cynthia Willett Children’s Hospital, in partnership with HCA Healthcare and Pediatrix Medical Group, is actively recruiting a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Neonatologist to join our premier Level IV NICU team. Position Highlights:
  • Location: Savannah, Georgia — a cost-effective, family-friendly city famous for its historic charm, beautiful beaches, and a thriving cultural scene.
  • Facility: State-of-the-art 92-bed Level IV NICU, the highest level of neonatal care in Southeast Georgia, serving as a regional referral center.
  • Team: Collaborate with a dedicated team of 9 neonatologists and 8 neonatal nurse practitioners (NNPs), fostering a multidisciplinary environment focused on excellence.
  • Clinical Responsibilities:
    • Provide advanced, evidence-based care to critically ill and premature newborns.
    • Manage high-acuity neonatal cases in a cutting-edge NICU setting.
    • Participate in 24/7 in-house coverage shifts to ensure continuous quality care.
    • Engage in collaborative rounding with pediatric subspecialists across various disciplines.
    • Support and supervise neonatal resident training rotations.
    • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and patient safety protocols.
    • Deliver family-centered care with empathy and effective communication.
  • Work Schedule and Support:

Qualifications:
  • Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neonatology.
  • Residency within or near the Savannah area is required; relocation assistance available.
  • Candidates outside the U.S. requiring visa sponsorship are not eligible for this position.
  • We are not accepting locum or temporary candidates.
