The VA is seeking a dedicated Gastroenterologist to join our growing team. This role provides the opportunity to deliver high?quality digestive health care to Veterans while working within a collaborative, mission?driven environment. The ideal candidate is committed to clinical excellence, education, and multidisciplinary teamwork.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide comprehensive outpatient, inpatient, and long?term care GI services.
• Diagnose, treat, and manage a wide range of gastrointestinal diseases, including Hepatitis C.
• Perform endoscopic procedures, including EGD, PEG placement, and colonoscopy.
• Offer consultative services to the VA Medical Center and associated Community?Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOCs).
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and support staff within the Patient Aligned Care Team (PACT) model to ensure coordinated, patient?centered care.
• Report directly to the Chief of Gastroenterology.
Qualifications:
• US Citizen; all non-citizens will be considered pursuant to VA policy
• Eligible for full and unrestricted medical licensure.
• Strong clinical, diagnostic, procedural, and communication skills.
