Position Overview

• Patient Volume: 12,000
• Specialties: Emergency Medicine, General Surgery, Urology, Intensive Care, lab services, Orthopedics, outpatient/same-day surgery, Radiology, sleep lab services, and wound care

•        Coverage Model: 12-24-hour shifts, 6-10 shifts per month

• Number of Beds: 25 hospital beds
• Acuity: Low
• EMR: Cerner
• Admissions/Transfers: 5% admission rate

Qualifications

• Licensure: Arkansas medical license (or ability to obtain)
• Board Certification: Board Certified/Board Eligible – ABEM, ABIM, ABFM
• Experience: Prior EM experience required
• Skills & Procedures: Broad EM skills set appropriate for a critical access facility
• Badges: ATLS, BLS, PALS

The facility offers many convenient health care and ancillary services such as emergency, general surgery, urology, intensive care, lab services, orthopedics, outpatient/same-day surgery, radiology and imaging, rehab, sleep lab services, and wound care.
