Loma Linda University Faculty Medical Group (LLUFMG), a nationally recognized academic medical group affiliated with Loma Linda University Health, is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Adult Psychiatrist to join its growing Psychiatry Department. This faculty opportunity offers a rewarding blend of clinical practice, teaching, research, and leadership potential within one of Southern California’s premier academic health systems.

Due to continued growth and expansion of behavioral health services, including support for the Emergency Department, Consultation & Liaison Psychiatry Service, and EMPATH Unit, LLUFMG is recruiting an additional Adult Psychiatrist to join a collaborative team of more than 15 psychiatrists and 15 advanced practice providers.

  • Emergency Department
  • Medical/Surgical floors
  • Consultation & Liaison Psychiatry Service
  • EMPATH Unit
• Monday–Friday schedule
• Shared overnight phone call responsibilities
• Weekend inpatient rounding approximately every 8–12 weeks
• First-call coverage provided by Psychiatry residents
• Collaborative multidisciplinary environment with access to a broad range of specialty physicians
• Epic EMR
• APP supervision integrated into the role
• Research, committee, and teaching opportunities available
• Work alongside residents, fellows, and medical students within a robust academic setting
• Full-time, part-time, or flexible FTE arrangements considered

Candidate Requirements

• MD or DO degree
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry
• Adult Psychiatry training required
• BLS certification
• H-1B and O-1 visa sponsorship available
• New graduates and experienced physicians encouraged to apply

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary: $250,000 – $311,000
• Production-based compensation model
• Negotiable sign-on bonus: $10,000 – $15,000
• Relocation assistance available for qualifying candidates
