Job Description:
We are seeking a Board-Certified Medical Oncology Physician to join our oncology department. The successful candidate will support inpatient consults, evaluate new referrals for both oncology and hematology, and develop comprehensive treatment plans, including chemotherapy and immunotherapy. Responsibilities include diagnosing and staging cancer, managing patient care for adults 18+, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. The position involves working in a hospital setting with an average patient load of 12-15 patients per day.

Schedule:

• Shift: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch
• Contract Duration: 6 months with the possibility of extension
• Hours: 5x8 shifts per week
• Overtime rate: 1.4x normal rate after 40 hours per week
• Holidays (additional pay at 1.5x rate): New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day

Qualifications:

• Board Certification in Medical Oncology or Hematology Oncology
• DEA and CSR certification required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 1-year experience in medical oncology

Licensure and Credentials:

• State license preferred; consideration for IMLC
• Internal credentialing process involves sending name and NPI to the account manager
• Credentialing timeframe: approximately 2 weeks or less

Compensation and Benefits:

• Hourly Pay Rate: $546.00
• Weekly Pay via Direct Deposit

• Paid for airfare, rental car/gas, and hotel
