Pay & Benefits

• Pay: $4,290.00/hour

What You’ll Do

• Provide general GI services and manage inpatient/outpatient consult needs during scheduled coverage
• Perform ERCP procedures (ERCP is required)
• Cover weekday scheduling with weekend call and 24-hour call coverage (including beeper coverage and 24-hour weekend call)
• Provide after-hours support primarily through phone consults; rarely called back onsite after hours
• Collaborate 1:1 with an APP and coordinate with supporting staff
• Support the endoscopy/OR environment, including endo suite/Main OR-Endo suite workflows
• Use EPIC for documentation (EPIC experience is preferred)

What You Need
Required

• Board Certified Gastroenterology
• ERCP required (well experienced with ERCP and general GI cases)
• TN License or IMLC required before confirming dates
• ACLS and BLS
• TN DEA
• Clean background for privileging (privileging timeframe ~60–90 days)

• EPIC experience (preferred)

This assignment provides gastroenterology coverage for a leading facility in Kingsport, TN, supporting an endoscopy/OR environment with staff including OR and in-house endo nurses. Coverage includes Monday–Friday scheduling with weekend call, and estimated daily procedure volume is approximately 7–8 procedures/day depending on the block and consult volume.
