Job Description:
Seeking a highly experienced Gastroenterology Physician to join our team starting August 1, 2026. The provider will support two locations, covering daily endoscopy procedures and surgical consultations for adult patients, with occasional cases involving patients younger than 18. This role involves a Monday to Monday schedule with weekly 24-hour call coverage, including night beeper duty and weekend call responsibilities. The provider will work closely with advanced practice providers and supporting staff, performing general GI and ERCP procedures with Olympus equipment and utilizing EPIC electronic medical records.

Schedule & Responsibilities:

• Support staff: OR and in-house Endo nurses
• Department: Endo Suite or Main OR/Endo Suite
• Patient volume: 5-6 procedures daily, estimated 7-8 procedures per day
• Working hours: Monday 7:00 AM EST – Monday 7:00 AM EST
• Onsite: 8-10 hours daily, Monday-Friday
• After-hours: Phone consults mostly, rare onsite callbacks
• Flexibility around EUS procedures and scheduling

Requirements:

• Board Certified GI (required)
• TN State License or IMLC before start date (required)
• Active DEA license in TN (required)
• ACLS and BLS certifications
• Experience in all General GI and ERCP cases (well experienced)
• Preferred: EMR experience with EPIC, CSR certification
