Job Description:

Support outpatient medical oncology services with potential opportunities for inpatient night and weekend call coverage. The provider will work with a dedicated team including administrative assistants, nursing staff, RNs, and APPs (APRNs and PA-Cs). The role involves managing both new patient consultations and follow-up visits for adult patients with a focus on GI, GU, Breast, and Lung Oncology. Work primarily in outpatient settings using EPIC EMR, with occasional inpatient assistance based on demand.

Requirements:

• Board Certified or Eligible in Hematology/Oncology
• KY or IMLC licensure preferred; open to licensing
• KY DEA registration
• Outpatient medical oncology experience required
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• New graduates welcome

Work Details:

• Support staff includes 3 full-time administrative and nursing assistants
• Coverage needed: at least 1 week per month, preferably 2-4 weeks
• Patient volume: approximately 16 patients per day
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8-hour days (08:00 - 17:00)
• Credentialing timeframe: 90-120 days

Compensation:

• Hourly Pay Rate: $4,290.00
• Daily Rate: $5,500
• Overtime (after 9 hours/day): $850/hour
