Hospitalist Physician Opportunity

Henry Ford Health Cornerstone Preferred Hospitalists is seeking qualified Hospitalists to join our growing inpatient medicine team in Warren and Detroit, Michigan. Physicians will provide comprehensive care for hospitalized adult patients in a collaborative, patient-centered environment.

Practice Environment
Hospitalists work closely with specialists, nursing staff, case management, and ancillary services to deliver high-quality inpatient care. Clinical responsibilities may include:
- General inpatient medicine
- Observation care
- Medical consultations
- Perioperative/co-management services
- Quality and patient safety initiatives
Qualifications
- MD or DO degree required
- Completion of an ACGME/AOA-accredited Internal Medicine residency program
- Board eligible or board certified in Internal Medicine
- Strong clinical, communication, and teamwork skills
- New graduates and experienced hospitalists are encouraged to apply

Our physician group began in 1997 with a vision to provide integrated quality care to the local community. We have grown to over 80 physicians and midlevel providers in 28 locations that include family practice, internal medicine, pediatrics, endocrinology, hospitalists, podiatry and colorectal surgery. All of our physicians are on staff at a Henry Ford hospital. To meet the needs of all patients, we are also on staff at most local hospitals in the community.
