About the Department of Neurological Sciences:
· Our Rush University Medical Center campus currently includes 10 academic clinical neurologists
· Our Neurology and Neurosurgery program is currently ranked 5th in U.S. & World News for specialty programs
· Collaborate clinically with over 100 faculty spanning the neurologic subspecialties
· Teach with over 40 residents and fellows in most clinical subspecialty areas including an MS specific fellowship
· The department also boasts a strong research infrastructure allowing faculty to thrive in their research pursuits
· Rush has made a commitment to significantly grow the already robust neuroscience program and footprint regionally and nationally, including with a new ambulatory building
Duties & Responsibilities:
· Flexibility to work in both inpatient and outpatient settings depending on specialization and career focus
· Neurologists with subspecialized interests can see patients within their area of interest as well as general neurology patients
· Care for patients with a wide variety of neurological diagnoses
· Teaching and research opportunities are available if desired by the candidate
· Demonstrate outstanding clinical skills and dedication to high-quality patient care
· The brand new 60,000-square-foot Rush outpatient center at North & Harlem Avenues in Chicago and offers multi-specialty care for our patients
Preferred Qualifications:
· Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology
· Must be a graduate from an ACGME-accredited Neurology Residency Program
· Hold medical licensure in IL (or can obtain IL licensure)
· Eligibility for a faculty appointment as assistant professor or level commensurate with their experience and accomplishments

Rush offers competitive total compensation that includes base pay, benefits, and other incentive programs for our employees. The total pay range shown reflects the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, knowledge and skills; relevant experience and training; education, certifications, and licensure; primary work location; and other business and organizational factors. This total pay range is for a full-time, 1.0 FTE employee, and includes any incentive payments that may be applicable to this role, as well as additional compensation such as sign-on and retention bonuses and relocation allowances. Opportunities for increased compensation based on exceeding productivity targets. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package.
Pay Range: $ 251,000 - $ 367,000
