St. Mary's Regional Medical Center, a member of Covenant Health, is seeking a Fellowship-trained Orthopedic Spine Surgeon to join our highly respected orthopedic team in Lewiston, Maine.

This is an exceptional opportunity to become part of one of Maine's most established orthopedic programs, practicing alongside a collaborative group of experienced orthopedic surgeons and advanced practice providers in a growing, community-focused health system.

As a replacement position, you will step into an established referral network supported by a robust primary care and specialty care system, allowing you to quickly develop a busy and rewarding spine practice.

You'll work alongside a talented team of orthopedic specialists providing care across a broad spectrum of musculoskeletal conditions, including:

  • Spine disorders and degenerative conditions
  • Sports medicine
  • Fracture care and trauma
  • Joint replacement surgery
  • Non-operative orthopedic management
  • Injection therapies

Our orthopedic department includes six orthopedic surgeons and four advanced practice providers supported by a highly experienced clinical team. Together, the practice serves approximately 1,800–1,900 patients each month and continues to experience strong demand throughout the region.

Qualifications

  • MD or DO
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
  • Fellowship Training in Spine Surgery required
  • Eligible for medical licensure in Maine
  • Eligible for DEA registration
