The Desai Sethi Urology Institute (DSUI) at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine is seeking an exceptional Associate Professor of Urology with specialization in Reproductive Medicine and Male Infertility to serve as Director of Reproductive Urology.

This is a key faculty position for a clinician-scientist dedicated to advancing excellence in patient care, education, and research in the field of male reproductive health. The successful candidate will join a growing department during an exciting period of institutional expansion and innovation.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Serve as an attending physician at University of Miami Hospital and Clinics (UMHC), Jackson Memorial Hospital (JMH), and the Veterans Administration Medical Center (VAMC).
  • Provide comprehensive clinical care for patients with reproductive and urological disorders, including male infertility, andrological conditions, and related surgical needs.
  • Supervise and mentor residents and fellows in both inpatient and outpatient settings, including participation in operating room training and ambulatory care teaching.
  • Participate in the University of Miami Medical Group (UMMG) clinical practice plan and ensure delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care.
  • Engage in academic and scholarly activities, including clinical research, publication, and program development within the Desai Sethi Urology Institute.
  • Contribute to departmental leadership as the Director of Reproductive Urology, fostering excellence in clinical programs, research initiatives, and educational offerings.
  • Provide inpatient consultations and participate in emergency on-call rotations as assigned.

Desired Qualifications:

  • MD/DO (or equivalent) from an accredited medical school.
  • Completion of an approved Urology Residency Training Program.
  • Board-certified or Board-eligible in Urology.
  • Licensed or eligible for licensure to practice medicine in the State of Florida.
  • Fellowship training or extensive experience in Reproductive Medicine and Male Infertility.
  • Demonstrated excellence in clinical care, teaching, and research within urology and reproductive medicine.
  • Proven commitment to academic excellence, patient care, and scholarly activity.
