The Pediatric Nephrology and Hypertension Division is a dynamic and growing team of 8 physicians and 3 APPs, expanding to meet the increasing needs of the Charlotte metropolitan area. Advocate Health is seeking one full-time Board Certified/Board Eligible Pediatric Nephrologist to join this well-established, nationally recognized division. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a highly collaborative team within a rapidly growing healthcare system in Charlotte, NC.

Position Highlights:

  • Provide clinical care across inpatient and consult services, outpatient clinics, and a dedicated pediatric dialysis unit.
  • Enjoy work-life balance with one remote day per week.
  • Teach and mentor residents and medical students.
  • Engage in collaborative research and educational initiatives with the Wake Forest University School of Medicine Charlotte campus.
  • Access academic and research opportunities tied to the new Wake Forest University School of Medicine - Charlotte campus that opened Summer 2025.
  • Eligible for a faculty appointment with Wake Forest University School of Medicine, commensurate with experience.

Ideal Candidate:

  • BC/BE in Pediatric Nephrology.
  • Applicants should have a strong background in renal replacement therapies and transplantation and an interest in the care of complex multidisciplinary patients.

Our team participates in national research/quality networks including: IROC, CKID, NAPRTCS, SCOPE, NEPTUNE, CURE-GN and PNRC.
