Program Director for Internal Medicine at Henry Ford Jackson

Program Director Internal Medicine Residency- This position provides 0.5 FTE support for administration of the program. This includes recruitment, administrative requirements, all ACGME required oversight, evaluation and promotion of residents, remediation of residents, graduate verification, curriculum development and program oversight.
The Program Director reports to the Chair of the Henry Ford Health Internal Medicine Department and to the Designated Institutional Official for program outcomes.
The Program Director must be Board certified in Internal Medicine and must be clinically active at the primary site where the residents train. Program directors are expected to have scholarly activity (research, peer reviewed grants, quality improvement or patient safety initiatives, systemic reviews, chapters in textbooks, case reports, creation of curricula, contribution to professional committees, educational organizations, editorial boards or innovations in education).
