AdventHealth Medical Group is seeking a General Surgeon to join our established surgical team at AdventHealth Palm Coast in Palm Coast, Florida. This is an opportunity to practice in a growing coastal community with block time, robotic cases, APP support, and a collaborative team model.

Practice Highlights

• Established team of 4 general surgeons
• Block time and access to ORs
• Robotic cases and outpatient surgery center on one site
• Clinic located on the same property as the hospital
• Shared call coverage with community physicians for a balanced emergent call and weekend rotation
• APP support
• EPIC EMR system with built-in AI scribe
• Employed hospitalist team and strong referral base from local primary care and AdventHealth Medical Group specialists

Job Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive general surgery care in both inpatient and outpatient settings
• Perform a broad range of general surgery procedures
• Collaborate with surgeons, APPs, hospitalists, and specialty colleagues
• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered surgical care

Requirements of the Position:

• Board Certification / Board Eligibility through the American Board of Surgery
• Active Florida medical license, or ability to secure active, unrestricted licensure
• DEA license required, or ability to obtain
• Team player with a patient-first mindset
• Excellent communication skills
