West Virginia University School of Medicine and the Department of Radiology seek General and subspecialty Radiologists to join their expanding Outreach Division to work during rotating day/afternoon and midnight shifts (ranks available: Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, Professor).

The WVU Department of Radiology provides state-of-the-art diagnostic imaging. We promote, develop, and integrate advances in imaging technology and imaging-based therapeutic procedures to complement the clinical, educational and research missions of WVU. We have a growing outreach imaging program covering several hospitals in the tri-state area. Facility and imaging equipment is of the highest quality with outstanding clinical infrastructure in place.

Duties: The successful candidate will practice in diagnostic radiology. In addition to providing excellent patient care, the successful candidate will also be involved in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows.

 

Qualifications:

  • Applicants must have an MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent
  • Be eligible for state medical licensure in states where imaging services are provided by WVU Medicine.
  • Successful candidate must have completed a radiology residency program and be board certified / eligible in radiology.
  • All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment.
