Private outpatient based radiology practice on California’s beautiful Central Coast is seeking a board-certified/eligible radiologist for approximately 30 hours per week position.
Key Details:
- No call, no weekends, no holidays
- Flexible vacation scheduling
- Moderate volume (50-100 cases/day)
- Hours 8:00-5:30
- Study variety (MRI, CT, xray, US & PET. Mammo optional.)
- Will tailor work to comfort level
- Procedures (arthrograms, barium studies, ultrasound guided biopsies. Also willing to teach procedures to a new hire).
- Currently 100% on site, but in the process to also have remote capabilities
- Broad general radiology practice covering most modalities, including mammography (MQSA certification preferred)
- High-quality outpatient and hospital imaging environment
- Starting compensation: $2,400 per day

Requirements:
- Board certification/eligibility in Diagnostic Radiology

On the day of their examination, all they need to do is check in with the receptionist so that they can be directed to the correct area in our facility for their examination. We pride ourselves with our on time service record. 95% of our patients are seen within 5 minutes of their scheduled appointment time.
The advanced technology of our equipment allows us to offer the fastest examinations anywhere. A CT scan that might take 30-45 minutes on an older piece of equipment takes just minutes at San Luis Diagnostic Center. Our Siemens Ultra High-Field 3T, Open MRI, which has the shortest imaging times available, provides the most detailed images of the body ever seen! At San Luis Diagnostic Center we know how hard it can be waiting to find out the results of an examination. So once a patient’s examination is completed, our radiologist interprets the study that same day. If the physician has requested it, our radiologist calls him/her with the results. Otherwise, the report is sent to the referring physician electronically or by fax later that day.
Patients scheduled for an interventional procedure, such as a biopsy, first meet with our radiologist to discuss the procedure. This gives the patient an opportunity to ask questions and have any fears alleviated. We have a private consultation room specifically designed for this purpose.
