What You’ll Do:

• Provide outpatient non-invasive cardiology services, including EKGs and echocardiograms
• Collaborate with APRNs and other healthcare providers to coordinate patient care
• Manage a caseload of approximately 16 adult patients daily
• Document clinical encounters in Cerner EMR system
• Participate in diagnostic procedures such as Echos and EKG reads in partnership with local specialists
• Contribute to high-quality patient care and continuity within a collaborative environment
• No inpatient or on-call duties required

What You Need:
Required:

• MD/DO license in Vermont or eligible for licensing
• Experience in outpatient cardiology (non-invasive)
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred
• Proficiency with EKGs and echocardiography procedures
• Ability to collaborate with healthcare team

Preferred:

• Past experience working with Cerner EMR system
• Ability to supervise APRNs (if needed)

About the Assignment:
This position is based in a well-respected community hospital in Brattleboro, Vermont, serving adult patients with outpatient cardiology needs. The role aims to fill the vacancy created by a retiring cardiologist, offering a unique chance to become part of a friendly, supportive team with no on-call responsibilities. Credentialing is estimated to take approximately 2 months, with a possibility to expedite the process. Travel expenses, including flight, hotel, and rental car or mileage (at IRS standard rates), are reimbursed where applicable.
