Physician - Obesity Medicine (Bariatrician)

Community Physician Network is seeking a board-certified Bariatrician to join our established Medical Weight Management Program in Central Indiana at Community Hospital South.

Position Highlights
·       Full-time clinical role with a well-established patient base with established referral system
·       Work alongside a dedicated bariatric surgery team in an integrated care model setting
·       Part of an MBSAQIP-accredited center committed to excellence in metabolic and bariatric care
·       No Call
·       Competitive compensation and benefits package, including incentives

Desired Requirements:
·       ABOM (American Board of Obesity Medicine) certification
·       MD or DO with active Indiana medical license (or ability to obtain)
·       Strong clinical background in obesity medicine and medical weight management
·       Knowledge of pre- and post-operative medical management for bariatric surgery patients
·       Familiarity with accreditation standards and quality improvement initiatives

Responsibilities
·       Provide comprehensive medical weight management services, including evaluation, treatment planning, and ongoing care
·       Collaborate with bariatric surgeons and clinical team members to deliver coordinated care
·       Manage pre-operative optimization and post-operative medical follow-up for surgical patients
·       Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and quality improvement activities
·       Contribute to maintaining MBSAQIP accreditation standards
