Bon Secours Pediatrics of Mechanicsville is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Pediatrician (MD/DO) to join our well-established team of pediatric providers. With two physicians planning to retire in the coming years, this is an excellent opportunity to inherit an established patient panel and build a rewarding practice within a thriving community.

Opportunity Highlights

• Full-time position: 36 clinical hours + 4 hours of protected administrative time
• Join a collaborative team of experienced pediatric providers
• Established patient base with strong community referrals
• Gradual ramp-up schedule for new providers
• Average patient volume of 20–25 patients per day
• Dedicated CMA/LPN support for each provider
• Epic EMR (Connect Care)
• Virtual visit opportunities through MyChart and Doxy

Call & Hospital Coverage

• Shared call schedule among 14 providers across three Bon Secours pediatric practices
• Approximately 3–4 call days per month
• Call hours: 5:00 PM – 7:30 AM with an average of 2–4 calls per night
• Community privileges at Memorial Regional Medical Center and St. Mary’s Hospital
• No inpatient admissions required

Practice Support

• Onsite laboratory services
• Licensed Clinical Social Worker support
• Strong leadership and mentorship from an experienced Pediatric Medical Director
• Collaborative, team-oriented culture focused on exceptional patient care

Qualifications

• MD or DO
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics
• Eligible for Virginia medical licensure
