Women's Psychiatry — Delivered Remotely via Telehealth

Happier Living is expanding its women's behavioral health services to meet the distinctive psychiatric needs of women across the lifespan. We are seeking a compassionate, relationship-oriented Psychiatrist with expertise or strong interest in women's mental health to provide high-quality care — delivered entirely remotely via secure telehealth.

Our women's health clients commonly present with perinatal and postpartum mood and anxiety disorders, premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD), perimenopause-related psychiatric symptoms, reproductive loss, and trauma. A significant portion of clients are seeking long-term therapeutic relationships alongside thoughtful medication management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality, evidence-based psychiatric care to women across reproductive life stages via telehealth
  • Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations with attention to reproductive history and hormonal context
  • Prescribe and manage medications with careful attention to safety in pregnancy, lactation, and perimenopause
  • Integrate psychotherapy and medication management according to each patient's needs and preferences
  • Use validated screening tools for PMADs, PMDD, and related presentations to guide treatment planning
  • Develop and adjust individualized treatment plans over time
  • Collaborate with OB/GYN, midwifery, and other interdisciplinary providers when appropriate
  • Support patients through reproductive transitions including conception, pregnancy, postpartum, infertility, and menopause
  • Contribute to Behavioral Health Integration (BHI) efforts through participation in team-based care when appropriate
  • Complete documentation in a timely manner

As a Women's Health Psychiatrist at Happier Living, you will cultivate long-term therapeutic relationships while integrating psychotherapy, reproductive psychiatry expertise, and collaborative care planning based on each patient's individual needs.

What Makes This Role Unique

  • Fully remote telehealth position — serve clients across multiple states
  • Longitudinal, relationship-based care model — weekly recurring sessions
  • Small, manageable caseload of motivated, low-acuity clients
  • Dedicated administrative support for scheduling, billing, and operations
  • Collaborative national practice group and regular 40-minute Case Conferences
  • Balanced integration of psychotherapy and medication management
  • Subspecialty focus in women's and reproductive psychiatry

Requirements

  • MD or DO
  • Board Certification in Psychiatry through the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN), or within 3 years of residency completion
  • Fellowship or additional training in women's mental health or reproductive psychiatry preferred but not required
  • Unrestricted DEA registration
  • Experience or strong clinical interest in perinatal mental health, reproductive psychiatry, or women's behavioral health
  • Preferred: Licensed in CA, NY, FL, TX, NJ, or PA
  • Participation in weekly 40-minute Case Conferences
  • Proficiency with telehealth platforms, EMR systems, and ePrescribing

Join our team of compassionate professionals dedicated to making a profound impact on the lives of women's health clients and families. Apply now to join the Happier Living community.
