• Weekend Call: 2+ weekends per month (non-consecutive), 2:4 call ratio
• Hours/Week: 40 hours/week
• Employment Type: Locum/Per Diem
• License/Certifications: NJ Medical License preferred; Board Certified in Cardiology; BLS, ACLS certifications required
• Experience: Prior cardiology experience preferred

What You’ll Do:

• Provide outpatient and inpatient cardiology consultations to adult and geriatric patients
• Perform echocardiography, transesophageal echocardiography, EKGs, and treadmill stress tests
• Collaborate with a team of 24 cardiologists
• Supervise and manage cardiac conditions within a Level 2 trauma hospital setting
• Document patient encounters efficiently using Oracle/Cerner EMR system
• Participate in weekend call coverage, including weekends as scheduled

What You Need:

• Valid New Jersey medical license or eligibility to obtain it
• Board Certified in Cardiology (Board Eligible candidates may be considered)
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• At least 2+ years of cardiology experience preferred
• Strong interpersonal and diagnostic skills
