Ballad Health Medical Associates is actively looking for a Board?Certified Pediatrician to serve as Core Faculty within the Dr. S. Hughes Melton Family Medicine Residency Program (est. 2015) at the 116?bed Johnston Memorial Hospital in historic Abingdon, VA.
This faculty role blends resident teaching, curriculum development, clinical supervision, and direct patient care. The program values physicians who embrace full?scope family medicine, enjoy working in multiple care settings, and are deeply committed to graduate medical education.
Job Description
- Resident supervision in clinic and hospital settings
- Participation in faculty meetings, candidate interviews, and curriculum development
- Engagement in scholarly activities and program research
- Direct patient care with opportunities to practice full?spectrum pediatrics
