General Cardiovascular Surgeon Opportunity in Palm Beach County, Florida 

Baptist Health Medical Group (BHMG), part of Baptist Health South Florida (BHSF), the largest healthcare organization in the South Florida region with medical practices spanning from Key West to Palm Beach, is seeking to employ a General Cardiovascular Surgeon to join its well-established program at the Christine E. Lynn Heart & Vascular Institute, part of Baptist Health Heart & Vascular Care. The new physician will report to our Chief of Cardiac Surgery and collaborate with a team comprised of fellowship-trained experts across all heart and vascular specialties to provide minimally invasive and robotic-assisted procedures. 

• Full-Time Opportunity  

• Requirements include MD/DO from an accredited institution, active and unrestrictive medical license (or eligibility for licensure by start date), and satisfactory completion of all required due diligence tasks and credentialing 

• Candidates must be Board Eligible/Board Certified in Thoracic and Cardiac Surgery by the American Board of Thoracic Surgery
• Robotic experience is preferred, but not required

• Preferred candidate will possess experience in all aspects of adult Cardiothoracic Surgery including, but not limited to, TAVRs, CABGs, Mitral Valve Repair and Replacements, Coronary Artery Bypass, and Aortic Aneurism Repairs

• BHSF is academically affiliated with Florida International University (FIU) and Florida Atlantic University (FAU), and engages in multi-disciplinary research, including 60+ clinical trials offering access to emerging therapies in cardiovascular care
