Medical Optometrist | Hagerstown, MD

Ludwick Eye Center is seeking a dedicated Medical Optometrist to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an Optometrist who enjoys practicing in a collaborative, medically focused setting alongside experienced ophthalmologists and clinical staff.

In this role, you will function as a Medical Optometrist,focusing on comprehensive eye health and disease management rather than routine refractions. You will provide high-quality patient care while working with a strong support team and established patient base. This role is based out of our Chambersburg Pennsylvania and Hagerstown Maryland locations

Job Responsibilities

• Medical Optometry role with no routine refractions

• Manage and treat ocular disease, post-operative care, and urgent eye conditions

• Established patient volume of 20–30 patients per day 

• Collaborative environment with ophthalmology support

• Modern practice with advanced technology and strong clinical resources

• Opportunity to build long-term patient relationships

Job Requirements

• Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited program

• Active or eligible state licensure in Pennsylvania and Maryland

• Comfortable practicing in a medical/clinical setting

• Strong communication and patient care skills

• Interest in collaborative care with surgeons and specialists
