Ludwick Eye Center is seeking a dedicated Medical Optometrist to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an Optometrist who enjoys practicing in a collaborative, medically focused setting alongside experienced ophthalmologists and clinical staff.
In this role, you will function as a Medical Optometrist,focusing on comprehensive eye health and disease management rather than routine refractions. You will provide high-quality patient care while working with a strong support team and established patient base. This role is based out of our Chambersburg Pennsylvania and Hagerstown Maryland locations
Job Responsibilities
Medical Optometry role with no routine refractions
Manage and treat ocular disease, post-operative care, and urgent eye conditions
Established patient volume of 20–30 patients per day
Collaborative environment with ophthalmology support
Modern practice with advanced technology and strong clinical resources
Opportunity to build long-term patient relationships
Job Requirements
Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited program
Active or eligible state licensure in Pennsylvania and Maryland
Comfortable practicing in a medical/clinical setting
Strong communication and patient care skills
Interest in collaborative care with surgeons and specialists
