Key Responsibilities

  1. Clinical Evaluation
  • Diagnose and manage a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions, from acute injuries to chronic disorders.
  • Conduct thorough patient examinations, including interpretation of diagnostic imaging studies such as X-rays, MRIs, and CT scans.
  1. Interventional Treatment
  • Perform and expand a wide range of ultrasound-guided and fluoroscopic-guided musculoskeletal procedures, including joint, tendon, and soft tissue injections/procedures.
  • Recommend and administer non-surgical treatments including physical therapy referrals, bracing, and image-guided interventions.
  • Participate in the evaluation and administration of advanced orthobiologic therapies, including platelet-rich plasma (PRP) and other regenerative medicine treatments.
  • Collaborate in the ongoing development and growth of the practice's procedural and regenerative medicine programs.
  • Provide pain management recommendations and coordinate multidisciplinary care as needed.
  1. Patient Education
  • Educate patients on their conditions, outlining both surgical and non-surgical treatment options.
  • Counsel patients regarding regenerative medicine and orthobiologic treatment options when appropriate.
  • Advise on injury prevention, ergonomic practices, and exercises to improve mobility, function, and strength.
  1. Consultation and Referral
  • Collaborate closely with orthopaedic surgeons to identify cases that may require surgical intervention.
  • Refer patients to other specialists when conditions require treatment outside the realm of sports medicine and orthopaedics.
  • Refer patients, as appropriate, to Exercise as Medicine or similar wellness programs.
  1. Other Duties
  • Maintain comprehensive, timely, and accurate patient records.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to practice growth and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
  • Assist with athletic coverage and support community outreach sports medicine programs.

Qualifications
