Job Description
- Specialty:
- Emergency Medicine
- Will take ABEM, IM or FM
- Coverage Needs:
- Need ASAP - Ongoing
- Must be able to cover 5+ shifts per month
- Shifts:
- 7a-7p, 7p-7a
- Setting:
- 25 bed acute care facility
- Level IV Trauma Center and Level II Stroke Center
- ICU and labor-and-delivery units are currently closed
- 15 treatment beds and eight fast-track beds, with dedicated X-ray and laboratory services
- Census:
- 22,400 emergency department visits annually
- 61 visits per day
- Support Staff:
- Full support staff and multiple ED MDs on staff
- Procedures:
- All Standard ER procedures
- Common medical needs include diabetes, cardiovascular disease, hypertension, cancer, stroke and kidney disease
- EMR:
- EPIC
- Board Certification:
- Board Certified Required
- Travel:
- Hospital will cover
- Credentialing timeline:
- Expedited Onboarding hoping for ASAP start
- Requirements:
- Active MI state license or compact license
- Active DEA in MI or willing to transfer
- ATLS, ACLS, PALS
