Rural OB/GYN Opportunity | Modern Delivery Unit | Competitive Benefits

Our Rural Health Clinic is seeking a board-certified OB/GYN physician with a heart for rural and passion for superior patient care to join our team. You will share call with a full time OB/GYN physician and an experienced certified nurse midwife, as well as NPR certified pediatricians who attend deliveries. The delivery area supports 6 LDRP rooms, one C-section room and if needed, four additional ORs and two procedure rooms.

Qualifications

  • MD or DO from an Accredited School of Medicine
  • Board Certified/Board Eligible
  • Completion of a recognized OB/GYN Residency
  • Licensed or eligible to obtain medical licensure in the state of Kansas

About KRRC

The Kansas Recruitment and Retention Center (KRRC) partners with hospitals, private practices, community health centers, Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC), and other organizations to help strengthen the health care workforce in rural and urban under resourced communities across the State. KRRC services are designed to assist Kansas communities in recruiting and retaining physicians, dentists, pharmacists, physician assistants, APRNs, nurses, dental hygienists, allied health professionals, and behavioral health professionals. In addition to offering recruitment support for Kansas health care facilities and job search support to a variety of health care providers, the KRRC offers resources for CV/resume building, interview prep, and contract negotiation.  

Currently partnering with 55+ health care organizations, we serve as their initial point of contact and liaison in recruiting those seeking to serve in rural and urban underserved communities.

About the facility

We are a tertiary care center, level two trauma center and is recognized by the Magnetâ„¢ organization. We are in our eighth year as a member of the Mayo Clinic Care Network. As medium-sized integrated delivery system, we serve a 13-county region in Northeast Kansas.

We are located just 20 miles from Manhattan, Kansas, home of the K-State Wildcats and boasts a regional airport with daily flights to Chicago and Dallas/Fort Worth.
