BE/BC Orthopedic Surgeon | 300–400 Cases/Year | Sports & Trauma

Due to growing market demands, this regional health center is now seeking a BE/BC orthopedic surgeon to round out our team. Have the ability to practice a wide breadth of orthopedics including; implants, arthroscopy, and trauma.

Operate!

  • 300 to 400 surgical cases per year

Support!

  • Work in a new clinic with partners specializing in general and trauma. Also practicing in the clinic are two non-operative sports medicine physicians and four APP’s.

Network!

  • Comprehensive sports medicine program with contracts in place to cover four local colleges and five high schools; we employ five athletic trainers who work in the clinic and on the field.

Convenience!

  • Clinic is next door to the hospital making life convenient for the surgeon.

About KRRC

The Kansas Recruitment and Retention Center (KRRC) partners with hospitals, private practices, community health centers, Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC), and other organizations to help strengthen the health care workforce in rural and urban under resourced communities across the State. KRRC services are designed to assist Kansas communities in recruiting and retaining physicians, dentists, pharmacists, physician assistants, APRNs, nurses, dental hygienists, allied health professionals, and behavioral health professionals. In addition to offering recruitment support for Kansas health care facilities and job search support to a variety of health care providers, the KRRC offers resources for CV/resume building, interview prep, and contract negotiation.  

Currently partnering with 55+ health care organizations, we serve as their initial point of contact and liaison in recruiting those seeking to serve in rural and urban underserved communities.

About the facility

We are a Regional Health Center that includes three critical access hospitals that serve across multiple communities across North Central Kansas. A high functioning level III trauma center, our eight operating rooms are equipped with da Vinci Xi & Si, Stryker Mako Robot, and BrainLab technologies. Oncology, neurology, neurosurgery, orthopedic surgery, and 24/7 cardiothoracic surgery are specialties available for patients.
