Colorado General Surgery Opportunity

General Surgery opportunity in beautiful Southern Colorado.  Manageable patient volumes and access to skiing, snowboarding, fly fishing and hiking in the heart of the Sangre de Cristo and San Juan mountain ranges.

Must be Board certified/Board eligible – General Surgery, with a desire and ability to work with a multi-specialty team in a rural area.  Must be comfortable with pediatrics, some trauma, advanced laparoscopy and upper and lower gastrointestinal endoscopy.

Practice overview: Hospital-employed position.  San Luis Valley Health consists of a 49-bed acute care hospital, 17-bed critical access hospital, two multi-specialty clinics and three rural health clinics.
