We are seeking a Gastroenterologist to join a well-established, community-based practice that emphasizes collaboration, flexibility, and long?term professional development. This position offers a unique opportunity to help expand advanced endoscopic services while practicing in a supportive and well-resourced environment.
Practice Overview
- Community-based gastroenterology practice with 4 employed physicians and 3 PA/NPs
- Shared call among physicians at a single 174-bed community hospital supported by an excellent hospitalist team
- Flexible practice structure designed to align physician interests with community needs
- Hospital, endoscopy center, and clinic co-located on one central campus
- Full anesthesiology support for endoscopy center and inpatient procedures
Advanced Endoscopy & Program Development
- Current technologies include ERCP, SBCE, FibroScan, high-resolution manometry, and Bravo pH monitoring
- ERCP is a key focus
- For candidates interested in developing ERCP expertise, the organization will fully sponsor a focused ERCP fellowship, including full tuition coverage, as part of our commitment to physician development and advanced care delivery
- Required within the first year
- Endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) is an opportunity of strategic growth
- EUS experience preferred but not required
- Ideal opportunity for a physician interested in helping establish and grow an EUS program within a community-based setting
Physician Support
- Dedicated clinic nurse assigned to each physician
- Optional PA/NP clinic support based on physician preference
