From the Team:

Dear Physician,

As you look toward establishing your new practice, we would like you to consider Kimberly and the Fox Valley area.  The four of us physicians in Kimberly have worked for ThedaCare for 21, 16, 7, and 3 years respectively.  We are part of ThedaCare Family Medicine South call group, which includes clinics in Menasha, Darboy, and Kimberly.  We are certainly partial, but we believe our clinic and call group is one of the best you could choose in today’s ever changing medical landscape.

We do outpatient medicine only, as do most of our family medicine colleagues in the area.  The reason our group and clinic are both so special is the quality of our physicians (we would trust our family to see any of them) and our amazing, dedicated staff.  Our clinic is small enough to really feel it is ours and large enough that we have great support.  Our patients are pretty amazing as well.  Many of them only like to come to Kimberly because they live nearby and have been coming here for so many years.  We are seeking a 5th physician for our clinic, either 3 or 4 days a week.  Call schedule is light and phone call only.  In clinic there is plenty of opportunity for procedures if you want to do them or no need if it is not your desired practice.

Our clinic has been fortunate to have recruited exceptional physicians since our beginning in the 1980s.  Our physician partners have been trained at residencies in Milwaukee, Madison, Michigan, Florida and Ottawa and even from our own residency in Appleton.  Often, we look toward each other for advice on the most up to date medicine from our more recent graduates, and those of us that have been around awhile also have knowledge to share based on years of experience.  We all learn from each other.

Our Kimberly clinic has one nurse practitioner as well, who is dedicated and smart.  She is a very capable clinician but knows when to ask questions.

Kimberly is on the outskirts of the Appleton area, close to Green Bay and Oshkosh as well.  It is a wonderful small city/big town with plenty of cultural and outdoor activities, including a wonderful performing arts center that gets amazing Broadway shows.  Housing is more affordable, and commutes are pretty easy.

If you desire a meaningful practice where you can connect and grow with your patients in their medical care; we would love for you to consider visiting and interviewing with us.  Our specialists and hospitals pride themselves on being state of the art, and the presence of a family medicine residency in town helps to keep primary care strong and valued.  Our patients appreciate our expertise in knowing them and their medical needs, helping to guide them through preventative and illness-related events in their lives.

We hope you enjoy your years of practicing medicine as much as we have thus far.  We truly feel this journey has been a privilege.

Sincerely,

Carolyn Blanc, MD                                                                                                            Rebecca Doro, DO
