We have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and engaging cardiologist to join  Luminis Health- Anne Arundel Medical Center (AAMC).. Seeking an experienced cardiologist to join a well-established group of 9 practitioners serving over 35,000 cardiac patients in the Annapolis area. The cardiologists serve as integral members of the Cardiovascular Service, along with the rapidly growing and newly established Cardiac Surgery team.

As a not-for-profit regional health system headquartered in Annapolis, Maryland, Luminis Health serves an area of more than one million people. AAMC is the third busiest hospital in Maryland, and is a nationally recognized in cardiac care.  AAMC’s cardiac catheterization lab performed over 1,400 diagnostic catheterizations, 170 STEMI, 400 PCI (acute and elective), 80 electrophysiology/ablations and 300 permanent pacers/AICD’s in 2018. AAMC offers a wide range of quality cardiac services, including prevention and diagnosis of heart disease, interventional cardiology,  rehabilitation, electrophysiology, device implants and all elements of cardiac surgery.

All applicants will be eligible for a competitive salary and generous benefits package. Successful candidates will also have the opportunity to participate in our seed funding for research as well as statistical and clinical trial support.

 Qualifications:

• Qualified candidates must show successful completion of an approved fellowship in cardiology.
• Candidates must be board-certified in cardiology.
• 3 to 5 years out from Fellowship
• Candidates must hold an MD or equivalent degree and be eligible for licensure in Maryland.
• Preferably candidates will have a background in cardiac imaging (Nuclear, echo, MRI and CT) and/or subspecialty training in congestive heart failure.
