Full-Time Internal Medicine Physician for Primary Care in Parker Arizona

Indian Health Service is seeking full-time Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Physicians for Parker, Arizona

Major Duties: 

Physician will be responsible for routine, outpatient clinic care.  Continuity of care focus with a tightly-knit Native American population, many with chronic conditions.  Spectrum of work includes the whole family, with a mission to care for an underserved population.  Pediatrics, podiatry, optometry, and dental available for on-site consult.  Provider will also cross-cover for a limited inpatient department with 4-6, non-telemetry beds. The Emergency Department is staffed separately by emergency physicians 24/7. The Colorado River Service Unit (CRSU), of which Parker is the only JCAHO-certified, critical access hospital, serves over 4,000 tribal members and includes federal clinics in Peach Springs, Chemehuevi, Moapa, and Supai.
