LOCUMS BC Hospitalist Needed in Tarboro, NC

ECU Health Physicians is seeking a BC Hospitalist to help fill immediate needs at ECU Health Edgecombe Hospital located in Tarboro, North Carolina. New providers will need to come in the day before scheduled start date for orientation.

Details:

• Inpatient Only
• BLS certification required
• 7a-7p schedule; some nights and weekends
• No procedures required
• 3 MDs on at Day, 1 MD on at Night
• Avg Total Inpatient Census: 46-50
• Avg # of patients/day/provider: 12
• Avg # of admissions/day: 3-8 in addition to daily patients
• Avg # of admissions/night: 6-8
• ICU/Critical Care Duties (8 beds) optional for day shifts ; required for night shifts
• Responsible for responding to codes
