Outpatient Psychiatry Medical Director

A private non-profit community mental health center that provides high quality, accessible, and comprehensive behavioral health services including therapy; medication services; home and community based care; case management; and vocational services for people who are challenged with serious mental illnesses is seeking a medical director.

Center is seeking a behavioral healthcare leader for an opportunity to provide medical directorship in both a clinical and administrative capacity to a collaborative multi-disciplinary team (psychiatrists, psychiatric nurse practitioners, nurses, mental health clinicians, and social workers) offering evaluation, therapeutic intervention as family/client education & support.

The director will set standards of psychiatric care, provide leadership and staff support regarding general patient care, medication management and medical issues and serve as a member of the Senior Leadership Team.

The ideal candidate will have strong academic credentials, sound clinical abilities, well- developed administrative/managerial skills be hard-working, dedicated to high quality patient care, and mentor and assist others working on the team in providing the same.
